It is the moment that Mary shows a disbelieving Dickon a door to a secret garden. She led him round the laurel path and to the walk where the ivy grew so thickly. Dickon followed her with an odd, almost pitying look on his face. When she stepped to the wall and lifted the hanging ivy he gasped in amazement. There was a door! Mary pushed it slowly open. ‘It’s a secret garden …’ Now continue the story yourself.
